Pain in the neck and throat at the same time. Medicines and folk remedies for sore throat

The neck is quite vulnerable, so it constantly turns, bends and supports the head. Therefore, it is not surprising that pain and discomfort is often felt in the neck area. Let's take a look at the main causes of neck pain.

Causes pain in the neck area there are a variety of:

1. Thyroiditis.

If it hurts to swallow, but the pain is felt not in the throat itself, but in the neck, the cause is most likely an inflammation of the thyroid gland (thyroiditis). The site is usually painful to touch. There is also a slight increase in body temperature and a deterioration in general condition. Thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease. Despite the fact that the painful sensations last only a few days, the thyroid gland in the case of this disease is often damaged for life. Therefore, if the acute symptoms - pain - have weakened, you still need to be examined by a doctor to find out whether the thyroid gland is functioning well.

2. Arthritis cervical spine.

Arthritis of the cervical spine causes feelings of inactivity, less flexibility of the neck, neck movements become uncomfortable and cause pain. In addition to neck pain, arthritis of the cervical spine also causes tingling and numbness in the shoulders, arms, and hands. You can do an independent check: press your chin to your chest and hold it in this position for 1-2 minutes, then turn your chin to the edge of your shoulder. If you experience numbness, pain, and tingling during this test, the nerves in your neck are being compressed by arthritic bones.

3. Swollen lymph nodes.

If, when swallowing, the throat hurts and swollen glands are felt in the neck area, which were not there before, the reason is an increase in lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are filters that cleanse the skull, ears, mouth, and the back of the neck from infectious substances passing through them. Therefore, the following causes will enlarge the glands and make them sensitive:

Swollen glands under the jaw - caused by a recent visit to the dentist

Swollen glands in the front of the neck - due to an infection in the throat,

Swollen glands in the back of the neck - caused by ear canal or skull infection, measles, or infectious mononucleosis.

It is important to remember that infection is always the cause of painful glands. With lymphoma, leukemia, and other forms of cancer, the swollen glands do not hurt — they are harder, more rubbery to the touch than infected glands. They are often discovered by accident - for example, when a woman puts on makeup or a man shaves, and not because they hurt. However, it does not matter whether the swollen glands are painful or not, if they do not go away in one to two weeks, you need to see a doctor.

4. Carotidinia.

If, when swallowing or touching, the outer surface of the neck hurts, but not in the front, as in the case of thyroiditis, but on the sides, where the pulse is felt, the cause is carotidinia. Carotidinia can be observed with migraine, dissection of the carotid artery, tumor neoplasm, squeezing the carotid artery, temporal arteritis. It can also be rare form primary headache, which almost always women suffer. In the treatment of carotidinia, indomethacin is effective, in some cases in conjunction with tricyclic antidepressants.

5. Muscle spasm.

If you feel as if you have grabbed all the muscles in the back of your head and twisted them into a tight knot, the cause of this is muscle spasm, which occurs, as a rule, from overwork, tension, prolonged sleep, or prolonged sitting in an uncomfortable position. Muscle spasm is relieved by relaxation, rest, aspirin and physical therapy.

And remember - nerves go through the bones of the neck, passing into the brain, as well as outgoing from it, so any neck injury needs serious attention!

The neck doesn't just connect the body to the head. This is a multifunctional part of the body that is of great importance in human life. Therefore, if the throat and neck on the sides hurts, the problem needs to be addressed urgently. The motor functionality of the head depends on the cervical muscles and vertebrae, and it is also an important part of the system that supports the brain and musculoskeletal system. All this, plus painful sensations, is a reason to think about options for finding out and solving the problem as soon as possible.

The main symptoms

Sore throat and neck pain at the same time is quite common. On the one hand, the combination of these symptoms can signal the development of a dangerous disease, but fortunately, most often it all ends in a mild nuisance like an ENT infection.

Painful sensations in the throat and neck can occur due to infectious diseases such as:

  • ARVI;
  • measles;
  • flu;
  • diphtheria;
  • common cold

Each of these ailments is accompanied by inflammation of the lymph nodes and tonsils.

You can make sure that pathologies are associated with an infection by a number of signs:

  • temperature increase;
  • swollen lymph nodes;
  • body aches;
  • loss of appetite;
  • headache;
  • feeling chills and weakness.

In addition to all these troubles, runny nose, coughing and sneezing can develop, which also does not add to the fun. In some cases, skin rashes may occur. of different nature.

If everything is more or less clear with infections, then diseases in which the neck can hurt without pronounced symptoms are a little more difficult to diagnose.

Pathologies of this nature include:

  • Dental pathologies.

When a wisdom tooth erupts, the surrounding tissues become inflamed. This process is accompanied by painful sensations in the throat and neck. The pain may worsen when chewing and swallowing food.

  • Laryngeal paralysis.

Violations in the region of the laryngeal muscles lead to painful sensations in the throat and neck. In addition, it becomes more difficult for a person to breathe and speak.

  • Carotidinia.

It is a disease associated with the carotid arteries. One of the features of its manifestation is the sensation of discomfort in the neck in the larynx region. When eating and palpation, the sensations intensify.

  • Inflammation of the cartilage of the larynx - chondroperichondritis.

This is one of the most severe diseases of the upper respiratory tract... In addition to the simultaneous aches of the neck and larynx, in case of complications, a person may suffocate.

In any case, one common main symptom is sore throat and neck pain on the sides. And having understood the symptoms, I immediately want to know what is the reason for this unpleasant phenomenon.

Causes and diagnosis

    • Psychogenic factor. Constant overwork and stressful situations of a different nature lead to severe neurotic pain in the neck. Emotional people prone to neuroses face this problem more often than others.
    • Hypertension. People with high blood pressure often experience pain in the neck and head.
    • Vegetovascular dystonia. If a person has a sore neck, sides and throat, this is just one of the symptoms characteristic of a disease caused by problems with the autonomic nervous system. In addition, a person may feel numbness in the fingers, gasp and sweat, he may also develop tachycardia or, on the contrary, bradycardia.
    • Inflammation of the lymph nodes. Some diseases such as otitis media, tonsillitis, thyroiditis and others provoke an increase in lymph nodes. Because of this, an intense and pulling pain is felt in the front neck region.
    • Myositis. Most often, this disease overtakes people leading a sedentary lifestyle, or living in damp and cold conditions. The neck not only hurts and pulls, it is also almost impossible to turn it.
    • Myalgia. Another ailment that affects people who are forced to be in the same position for a long time. If a person already moves a little, and also prefers to sit on the couch in his free time, then muscle hypertonia develops. In this case, the muscles of the neck spasm, which leads to painful sensations.
    • Occipital neuralgia. With hypothermia of the occipital part, inflammation of the cervical joints or pinching of the cervical vertebrae of the occipital nerve, a persistent pain syndrome appears, supplemented by lumbago in various areas of the head and back.
    • Displacement of the vertebrae in the cervical spine. Any, the most insignificant neck injury, combined with osteochondrosis, can lead to displacement and even subluxation of the vertebrae. A person who has received such a pathology begins a lot of problems: the neck muscles tense and hurt, and weakness is felt in the hands. The patient also suffers from headaches, depression and cognitive impairment.
    • Uncovertebral arthrosis. In this case, due to degeneration of the intervertebral discs of the cervical spine, uncovertebral joints grow on the back of the spine. These pathological joints often cause pinching or squeezing of nerve endings and blood vessels. Symptoms of this disease are similar cervical osteochondrosis and spondylosis. Also, the patient may have difficulty with balance and feel pressure drops.
    • Spondylosis. As in the previous case, the growths that form along the edges of the vertebral joint are to blame. On the one hand, they are even beneficial, since they serve as a kind of support for unstable vertebrae. But when there are too many of these growths, they change the primary location of the cervical vertebrae. With such a deformation, nerve endings are pinched, and blood flow to the head worsens. Due to a nutritional deficiency in the brain, a person feels dizzy, tinnitus, and his vision deteriorates. And the compressed nerve endings cause pain in the neck.
    • Intervertebral hernia. This disease is a consequence of progressive osteochondrosis. The deformed vertebral disc feels the increasing pressure of the adjacent vertebrae and gradually shifts. As a result, the annulus fibrosus breaks, and the gelatinous part of the disc protrudes beyond the spine. A person with such a pathology feels pain in the neck and back, his arm muscles weaken, headaches and dizziness appear, and tingling is felt in his fingers.
    • Osteochondrosis is perhaps the most common reason why the side and back of the neck can hurt. Muscle spasms provoke changes in the discs that hold cervical vertebrae... Friction occurs between the vertebrae, during which the nerve endings passing between them are pinched. All this causes aching pain that increases with movement of the head or neck. Painful sensations are given to the arm and to the area of the scapula.

Treatment methods

There are several main methods for eliminating pain in the muscles of the neck:

      • massage;
      • physiotherapy;
      • local anesthesia;
      • taking general pain relievers.

Most often, if a person has a neck pain, then he begins to take pain relievers.

The most common drugs include:

  1. Diclofenac.
  2. Nurofen.
  3. Ketanol.

These remedies only help to get rid of pain. Muscle spasms are relieved by other drugs - muscle relaxants. Even with any problems associated with the spine, it is important to take vitamin B. This vitamin improves the conduction of nerve impulses, protects the nerve endings from inflammation.

If neck pain appears on the right or left side, local anesthesia can be used to soothe the muscle tissue.

As a rule, these are various kinds of ointments:

      • voltaren;
      • finalgon;
      • ketanol, etc.

Plasters and applicators are also in demand, and athletes also use freezing.

Massage is almost always helpful for sore throat and neck pain. The exceptions are cases of an infectious and pathological nature, in which excessive touching can only aggravate the situation. In any other situation, massage is an excellent preventive measure of help.

Another effective method is physiotherapy, which strengthens all possible techniques. In this case, the muscle spasms are relaxed by a directional magnetic field and electricity.

We are treated at home

Quite often, the throat and neck hurt on the sides due to stagnation of lymphatic blood flow. This overstrains the muscles and leads to salt buildup. If these reasons are not dealt with in a timely manner, the painful sensations will intensify and worsen. Improve blood flow in cervical muscles will help playing sports. Moreover, intense physical activity is not required here at all. Morning exercises and walks before bedtime are enough.

It is good if such an easy treatment can be enhanced with preventive massage procedures, then the result will come much faster and will be more pronounced. You can also consider several folk methods, contributing to the relief of pain syndrome.

Warming up. In order to warm up the neck and throat, take 3 large tablespoons of salt, ignite the salt, and then distribute it in an even layer on a suitable cloth. Then the salt is wrapped, allowed to cool to a tolerable temperature and this impromptu compress is applied to the aching area for 15-20 minutes.

If the causes of neck pain lie in flowing, a contrast shower will help. Due to the temperature difference, the muscles either relax or contract. The result is a full-fledged muscle tissue workout. To further enhance the positive effect, you can rub your neck with a towel right after you shower.

Prevention measures have always been considered an important aspect influencing the improvement of the painful condition:

  1. healthy lifestyle;
  2. good nutrition;
  3. physical exercise.

Prophylaxis

Physiotherapy is one of the best prevention methods for neck pain on the sides. With the help of physical education, you can stimulate muscle nutrition and thereby strengthen the muscle corset of the spine. Another plus of physical therapy is its simplicity. You do not need special equipment and lots of free space to perform useful exercises. Therefore, it can be carried out anywhere, even near the desktop.

This kind of gymnastics is an irreplaceable assistant for office workers. For any painful manifestation and for preventive purposes, you can interrupt work and perform a set of exercises. By the way, it takes a little time - 5 minutes is quite enough. The main movements are turning and tilting the head and neck in different directions.

Keep in mind that prevention and folk remedies- this is good. But in case of a problem with pain in the neck and throat, it is better to consult a specialist. Doctors will be able not only to diagnose the problem and conduct required analyzes and examination, they can also help to finally deal with side pain in the neck and problems associated with the throat.

It happens that a sore throat is accompanied by discomfort in the neck when swallowing. They can appear from the front or from the side and are very similar to the common cold. At the same time, the temperature does not rise much, and heaviness and weakness are felt throughout the body.

If the neck and throat hurts at the same time, this may be associated with different problems, and it is very difficult to determine the exact diagnosis on your own.

Symptoms

Common illnesses such as flu, colds, SARS, and rare - measles, scarlet fever and diphtheria can provoke pain in the neck and throat.

Infectious or colds, as a rule, are accompanied by other symptoms:

Additionally, symptoms may appear that are characteristic of a certain group of diseases. For example, a runny nose, cough and sneezing appear with colds and SARS, and a rash with scarlet fever.

Possible reasons

When the neck and throat hurt at the same time, there is a feeling that something presses in the throat, that a lump has formed there, it is not always possible to talk about serious problems, but you should not neglect the treatment, you need to immediately respond to such pathologies in the body.

If you experience neck pain when swallowing, it is most likely caused by an inflammation of the thyroid gland, otherwise called thyroiditis. This is an autoimmune disease that requires regular examination and consultation with an endocrinologist.

If you feel that the outside of your throat hurts when you swallow or touch, then the cause may be carotidinia, which is an inflammation of the carotid arteries. Why this disease appears has not yet been established, but getting rid of it is quite simple - a course of aspirin for several days is enough.

Discomfort when swallowing may be due to inflammation of the lymph nodes. The inflamed area is directly related to the part of the body that was attacked by the infection. For example, if it hurts in the front, the throat is affected, if in the back, the skull or ear canal. In the second case, measles or infectious mononucleosis may also be the cause.

Lymph nodes are present in our body for a reason - they are necessary to filter and cleanse the mouth, ears, skull and back of the neck. That is why any problems in this area, even toothache, become a provocateur of inflammation.

Do not confuse inflammation of the lymph nodes with cancer of the glands: with leukemia, the nodes do not bother, but only feel like rubber and can be discovered by you by accident. However, it is not worth delaying the treatment of inflamed lymph nodes, as complications can be expected.

The cause of the pain can be elementary. A prolonged nervous state often provokes tension in the neck, especially since the load on this part of the body is a priori great, because it has to support a heavy head all day.

Our neck is often left open, so it is primarily accessible to drafts and gusts of cold wind. These habitual factors can also provoke pain.

If your work day is like many modern people, is associated with constant stress and fatigue from sitting at the computer in an uncomfortable position, then neck pain can occur due to muscle spasm. The easiest way to get rid of this problem is to provide the body with rest and physical therapy. If the attack is acute, aspirin or another non-aggressive pain reliever will quickly cope with it.

And, finally, another ailment that causes discomfort in the neck area, decreases its mobility and appears numbness and tingling in the shoulders and limbs, is arthritis of the upper spine.

You can check whether this ailment is bothering your neck yourself: press your chin to your chest for a few minutes, and then turn it towards your shoulder.

If at this moment there is pain in the neck, it means that the nerves have compressed the arthric bones, and it is necessary to consult a specialist.

We invite you to familiarize yourself with the means of traditional and traditional medicine, which the doctor will prescribe when a disease is detected.

Pharmacy preparations

Thyroiditis. Acute stage - antibiotics, symptomatic agents, vitamin C, vitamins of group B. Subacute stage - corticosteroids ( "Prednisolone", "Dexamethasone"), drugs of the salicylic series. Chronic fibrous thyroiditis - thyroid hormones that are prescribed for hypothyroidism and are substitute drugs. Hormones such as L-thyroxine should be taken one tablet every morning, half an hour before meals. The dosage depends on the degree of hypothyroidism.

Carotidinia. Since this disease is a type of migraine, it is most often prescribed for its treatment "Indomethacin"... This drug is available both in the form of rectal suppositories and in the form of ointments, tablets, drops.

In the case of inflammation of the lymph nodes associated with an infection, as a rule, standard treatment is used, which consists of rest, a certain diet, drinking plenty of fluids, taking vitamins, paracetamol and other measures.

Muscle spasm is easily relieved by relaxants ( "Baclofen", "Tizanidine", "Midocalm"), as well as aspirin.

Arthritis of the cervical spine is diagnosed and treated only by a doctor. But with osteoarthritis, you can try to include it as a dietary supplement "Glucosamine"... It is especially necessary for people in old age, when its natural content in bones decreases in quantity. The course of treatment lasts two to three months until the discomfort goes away.

Folk remedies

If it is not possible to immediately consult a doctor for pain in the neck, you can use time-tested folk remedies.

Some of the options are:

Due to the fact that when the neck and throat hurt, it is almost impossible to independently identify the causes and decide on the course of treatment, experts recommend contacting a doctor.

At the same time, having visited the doctor, try to describe as accurately as possible the main and accompanying symptoms to avoid unnecessary unpleasant procedures, examinations and guesses.

Sore throat and neck: what are the causes of this condition? The answer to this question is easy to give, but in order to get it it is worth contacting a doctor. Comprehensive diagnostics carried out by a specialist will be able to give an answer, after which treatment is prescribed. Everything must be done as early as possible.

Pain and discomfort in the neck and throat area are common and can be caused by various pathological conditions. To avoid complications, urgent medical advice is needed, self-medication often causes fatal consequences.

Problems in the neck or throat located in the thickness of its tissues indicate an ENT pathology or infection. The reasons can be very different:

  • viruses;
  • bacteria;
  • fungi;
  • oncology.

With any, even the most insignificant pathology of the throat, there is an increase in the diameter of the lymph nodes, which are so densely located on the neck. A person develops sore throat, flu, laryngitis, pharyngitis, the causes of which are most often bacteria or all kinds of viruses. Lymph node enlargement occurs under lower jaw, on the front of the neck, in the back of the head or on the sides.

Differential diagnosis

By the place on the neck, where the lymph nodes have enlarged, one can judge a particular disease. So, with the development of infectious mononucleosis, everything reacts with pain, as well as an increase in the posterior group of lymph nodes. With angina, a sore throat worries, sometimes a person cannot eat anything, as well as enlarged lymph nodes in the front of the neck.

Discomfort and especially severe pain almost every disease is characterized in the throat, whether it is an inflammatory process of the tonsils or below the pharynx, larynx, the size of certain groups of lymph nodes increases.

With flu, diphtheria, scarlet fever or a common cold, a person notes that his neck is swollen in a short period. Often, neck pain is accompanied by the same symptoms in the throat. There are several signs by which you can establish the infectious nature of the problem. Among them, the following are of particular value:

  • abrupt onset of the disease;
  • chills and unpleasant feeling of weakness;
  • headache;
  • aches of the whole body;
  • appetite decreases or disappears;
  • drowsiness;
  • high temperature;
  • lymph nodes are often enlarged.

The patient notes that his neck was swollen in a very short time, especially with diphtheria. Depending on the disease, sneezing, a runny nose, accompanied by a cough join. Scarlet fever betrays itself as a characteristic small-point rash on certain parts of the human body. With diphtheria, the neck swells pronouncedly, a sore throat develops along with layers on the tonsils.

What it leads to and what to do

A complication of the above can be an abscess of the neck or throat, it is also accompanied by severe pain. The patient will say that his neck hurts even at the slightest turn or tilt of the head. The temperature rises to high numbers, and it becomes impossible to swallow, open your mouth or speak.

The intervention of the ENT doctor and the opening of the abscess must be immediate, otherwise the consequences can be the most sad. Along with surgical techniques, antibiotics are also used. A wide spectrum of action is used, as well as preparations taking into account the sensitivity of microorganisms to them.

Other reasons

Neck pain with simultaneous discomfort in the throat may be due to other reasons that are not accompanied by symptoms of general intoxication.

A condition that causes pain, especially in the neck, is osteochondrosis. With this disease, pain and discomfort, a feeling of numbness are no longer localized in the neck itself, but in the hands. X-rays will help to confirm the guesses, and the neurologist will prescribe the treatment.

With carotidinia, or inflammation of the carotid arteries, discomfort and pain is located on the neck, along its outer surface, while affecting the throat. Symptoms intensify when you try to swallow or probe the site of the lesion.

The inflammatory process, with its development in the thyroid gland, makes itself felt to a large extent, pain develops during swallowing. The body temperature of a person is rapidly creeping up and often to high numbers.

When the cartilaginous half rings of the larynx are affected, the neck also begins to bother, and a sore throat develops. An increase in nodes occurs lymphatic system, breathing is difficult. The skin at the location of the larynx becomes red and swollen. The danger is that a person can suffocate if no action is taken in time.

Dental problems can also cause everything to swell and hurt. This is especially true for problems with large molars and the surrounding tissues. Not only the tooth or throat itself can hurt, but also the neck in the upper part on the affected side. Symptoms increase with movements of the lower jaw, an attempt to open the mouth, swallow food and saliva.

With paralysis of the larynx, not only pain develops, but also a weakening of the voice, breathing becomes difficult.

Oncology, which develops in soft tissues in any area of the neck or throat, is capable of giving impetus to the problem. Symptoms are especially enhanced at the stage of the disintegration of malignant processes and germination into the nerves, which the neck is so rich in. Symptoms of the tumor process are quite diverse, and at first they manifest themselves as discomfort during swallowing, a feeling of something foreign in the lumen. A feeling of squeezing joins, the voice changes, a dry cough constantly worries.

There are still less common diseases that can add to the list of causes of problems in the neck and throat. But what has already been mentioned above is quite enough to understand the problem and the need to take it seriously and not put it on the back burner. The main thing is to suspect everything at an early stage, and, if necessary, provide medical assistance, then the chances of a normal outcome will be much greater.

Sore throat and neck pain is not always the result of a cold, as many are accustomed to think. It can be caused by various diseases, including cancer. See a physician for an examination.

Self-medication is unacceptable, since the range of possible problems is very wide. Here are just a few of the causes of pain:

  • foreign body;
  • throat or spine injury;
  • abscesses (abscesses);
  • pathology of the circulatory system.

A sore throat is usually indicated by discomfort in this area when swallowing. If during swallowing the pain remains unchanged - most likely, the source of the unpleasant sensations is located in the neck, and the pain "gives off" from it.

This state is typical, for example, for. You can go to a surgeon or vertebrologist, having received the conclusion of an otorhinolaryngologist about the absence of pathology.

Possible Causes and Symptoms

Infection

With atypical sore throat (tonsillitis), only one side of the throat hurts, usually the left, since the tonsils on this side are more susceptible.

An important difference from other throat diseases: tonsillitis is not characterized by high fever. Usually it is normal, rarely subfebrile (around 37 ° C).

A typical cause of one-sided pain (maybe on the right side) is pharyngitis, or inflammation of the pharynx, bacterial or viral.

Mucus, sometimes in combination with pus, flows down the walls of the pharynx inside, which leads to discomfort and coughing.

Lymphadenitis

If the throat and neck are sore on the sides, it should be checked. Their increase in size reliably indicates inflammatory process... Among the pathologies in which the lymph nodes are enlarged, there are:

  • oncology;
  • bacterial / viral / fungal infection;
  • sore throat or pharyngitis;
  • connective tissue diseases (arthritis, lupus erythematosus);
  • hypersensitivity (if the lymph node in the neck is inflamed, this is a "response" to medications, cat scratches or insect bites);
  • immunity disorders;
  • diseases of the thyroid gland;
  • ear inflammation (then the lymph nodes increase in the back of the neck);
  • dental diseases;
  • measles.

If the lymph nodes in the neck become sharply inflamed, the body also reacts sharply to this: high fever and chills, fatigue, general weakness, heaviness in the head and a decrease or lack of appetite can be noted.

Diseases of the thyroid gland

The thyroid gland is located close to the larynx and trachea. When enlarged, it can squeeze them, resulting in neck pain and a feeling of obstruction (coma) in the throat.

It is possible to suspect endocrinological pathology if the following symptoms appear at the same time:

  • discomfort increases with deep breathing;
  • mood changes dramatically (from excitement to deep depression);
  • unrelated weight change;
  • Temperature "jumps";
  • dry skin;
  • changes in the condition of nails and hair.

If there are large nodes in the thyroid gland, the "lump" worries almost constantly, and you may notice that the neck is swollen. Soreness may be felt when swallowing.

If this is a functional "com" associated with a neurotic (hysterical) state, the symptoms are unstable: for example, they intensify in the evening after work or during stress, and stop in a calm state, on weekends, etc.

Spine pathology

The neck has a significant load, and degeneration and dystrophy of the cervical intervertebral discs, their displacement cause changes in large vessels and nerves, spinal cord, trachea and esophagus. Manifestations of these changes:

  • restriction of movement;
  • insufficiency of cerebral circulation;
  • tension of the cervical and pharyngeal muscles (pain in the lower part of the neck or on one side).

The sensation of a foreign body in the throat on one side is constant and becomes stronger at night, but the examination does not reveal any obstacle.

Soreness manifests itself between the thyroid gland and the jugular fossa, at the bottom of the neck, and increases with swallowing. Attention should be paid to other accompanying osteochondrosis and shoulder girdle:

  • decreased sensitivity / numbness;
  • limited range of motion.

To exclude the likelihood of such diseases as a tumor of the pharynx / larynx, infections, a foreign body, narrowing of the esophagus, and others, it is necessary to consult a neurologist, otorhinolaryngologist, gastroenterologist.

Doctors will prescribe x-rays or MRIs, examination internal organs, a number of analyzes. Further treatment depends on the results of examinations, when the cause of the problem is established.
