Even the messy porridge during the first week after surgery can be used with great care, or it is better to refuse it altogether.

From the second week, the menu can be expanded a little, but this should be done gradually. It is better to add one new dish a day so that you can assess whether it is causing pain attacks.

In addition to lean broths, the patient is given mashed dishes. Better for an inflamed stomach slimy porridge, boiled in water without salt and sugar, with a small piece of butter. Throughout the diet, you can eat no more than 10 g of butter per day. Cereals can be added to soups. It is better to grind the vegetables in the soup to a puree before serving.

From the third week after the operation, meat dishes are included in the menu, but their components must be chopped as much as possible. From meat, chicken is best absorbed (it is better to take fillet, since it is less fatty), turkey and rabbit. Made from meat steam cutlets, soufflé, dumplings, meatballs. The same can be done with lean fish. Salt meals should be no more than 10 g per day. It is better to cook with steam, and after a month after the operation, meat dishes can be baked.

In case of a peptic ulcer, it is important, on the one hand, not to overload the stomach, and on the other hand, the functions should be gradually restored. This means that you need to train him to produce digestive enzymes. For this, the regime is strictly observed. Food is consumed at the same time (an error of half an hour or an hour is permissible, but no more).

For the first three months after surgery, a strict mashed diet is followed. The list of approved foods includes:

  • mashed boiled vegetables (with the exception of cabbage in any form - it takes a long time to digest);
  • porridge-smear on the water. A month after the operation, you can gradually introduce milk into the porridge (add one part of milk to two parts of water), low-fat and non-acidic sour cream or cream (no more than 1 tablespoon). Rice, buckwheat, millet, oatmeal are best absorbed from cereals. But it is better not to give barley and corn, as they swell in the stomach, which may cause digestive problems;
  • lean meat (remove the skin);
  • soft-boiled eggs (one per day), steam omelettes;
  • non-acidic and low-fat milk, sour cream, cream (no more than 10 grams per day), non-acidic kefir and fermented baked milk, mild cheese and non-acidic cottage cheese;
  • dried bread made from premium wheat flour;
  • puddings, soufflés, cheese cakes, casseroles, lazy dumplings;
  • boiled vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, zucchini, pumpkin, eggplant, potatoes).
