Today guys, we will talk about a significant date that has gone down in Russian history as Afghanistan war.
During this time, I would like you to draw a line between the tragic war and peace, to think about the facts that will be touched upon. So that your hearts are filled with nobility and respect for Russia, I also want you to be proud of your fellow countrymen. But at the same time, we will develop the ability to listen, analyze, draw conclusions while competently expressing our thoughts.
Perhaps there will never come a time on earth when the word “soldier” will become unnecessary and unfamiliar. War is such a terrible word. How much misfortune and tears she brings again and again. Another war has gone down in history, which did not spare the young souls of the children. Undeclared by anyone, heroic and tragic, it turned out to be 2 times longer than the Great Patriotic War.
Slide (map): Afghanistan is a state in southwest Asia. Diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and Soviet Russia were established in 1919.
April 27, 1978 - A revolution occurred in Afghanistan, which led to a fratricidal war. The communists came to power and forbade performing morning rituals, visiting temples, and prohibiting Muslim rituals. Nobody wanted to agree with this. Thus began the civil war in Afghanistan against the communists. Afghanistan asked for help from Soviet troops. Our country responded (Brezhnev). Our government hoped that the deployment of troops would be short-term
? Why do you think Soviet troops were brought into Afghanistan? (providing assistance in stabilizing the situation and repelling possible external aggression. The task of Russian troops is to protect the local population from gangs, as well as distribute food, fuel and basic necessities.).
So, the war began - December 25, 1979
Slide: The war in Afghanistan lasted 9 years, 1 month and 19 days - 2238 days. There is still no consensus about what happened, but the courage and honor with which Soviet soldiers fulfilled their military duty, as they called it international, are not in doubt.
Each of our soldiers who went through this war became part of Afghanistan. And Afghanistan became a part of everyone who fought there. Fools called Afghanistan a “school of courage.”
On February 15, 1989, our troops left Afghanistan. This day, February 15, is considered the Day of Remembrance of Russians who performed their duty outside the Fatherland.
Slide: According to official data, over the years in Afghanistan we have lost more than 15 thousand, 36 thousand were wounded, more than 300 servicemen went missing. The most disastrous year was 1984. 2343 soldiers died. In battles, 333 helicopters, 118 aircraft, cars and fuel tankers were shot down - more than 11 thousand units
? How many years does this year mark since the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan? (24 years)
Young soldiers, sent to hell in the land of sands and winds, died for nothing. And now we will talk about these young soldiers:
(I) Popov and Vasyanin - slides
Student speech: wars are internationalists
You all probably watched the film “9th Company” - about the events of this war.
Slide: In Khabarovsk, guys, a memorial has been erected on Glory Square. “Black Tulip” was the name of the plane that carried dead soldiers from the battlefield. Three black pylons in the shape of tulip petals rise on a granite podium, on which are the names of residents of the Khabarovsk Territory who died in “hot spots”. In the center, at the base of the petals, is a hemisphere with a diameter of about 2 m, on which, like on a globe, conflict zones where the Far Easterners fought were marked with lights. Around the hemisphere there is an inscription: “To fellow countrymen who fell in local wars and military conflicts.” In front of the tulip there is an inscription carved: “To those who died while performing international and military duty in peacetime”
It's a rare day when people don't come to this obelisk. Some stop to read who and when this monument was cast, others come with sadness in their eyes and, quietly placing a bouquet of fresh flowers at the marble foot of the obelisk, remain silent, glancing at the black tulip petals, pierced by shell fragments.

Slide:
Minute of silence (monument)
Remember us, Russia,
Both angry and tired,
Stupefied by the heat,
No sleep, no water,
Measuring life
From stop to stop,
From star to star
From trouble to trouble.

Let's honor the memory of not only Afghan war fighters, but also those who did not return from hot spots.
Result of the event: When did the Afghan war start? How long did it last?
How many years will it be this year since the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan was completed?
What heroes who fought in Afghanistan do you remember?

"ROADS OF THE AFGHAN WAR"

Slide No. 1

Leading:

A bridge across the border river Amu Darya and hundreds of women's eyes directed to where a border guard is standing at the barrier, and another column with our soldiers is about to appear.

What event do you think we are talking about?

That's right, on February 15 we celebrated 23 years since the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.

Slide No. 2

Our class hour is dedicated to this date.

The Afghan War has ended and faded into history. Undeclared by anyone, heroic and tragic, it turned out to be 2 times longer than the Great Patriotic War.

Slide No. 3

With the passage of time, the question still remains relevant: were our guys needed in Afghanistan? And there is no clear answer; moreover, opinions differ sharply.

How it was: historical background

Slide No. 4

1979 The April revolution was victorious in Afghanistan, and the Soviet Union became one more friendly country. But the victory of the revolution did not resolve the internal contradictions of the Afghan people: there was civil strife, some groups of the population fought with others, which was skillfully used by various types of opponents.

Slide No. 5

The Afghan government more than once turned to the government of the Soviet Union with a request for military assistance, which was resolutely refused throughout 1979, believing that the Afghans should resolve their problems themselves.

Slide No. 6

And yet, the decision to send a limited contingent of Soviet troops into the territory of our southern neighbor was made.

Slide No. 7

It did not come immediately or easily, but only after it became obvious that events were getting out of control and could unfold unpredictably. In Afghanistan, the head of state was treacherously assassinated, and the United States attempted to place powerful new weapons near the southern borders of our country, which posed a serious threat. Only then was this important political decision regarding the entry of Soviet troops into Afghanistan made in the Kremlin offices. It must be remembered that this was the time of the Cold War, a time of brutal confrontation between two systems: the Soviet Union and the United States of America

Slide No. 8

Then no one had any doubts about the correctness of the decisions made. And our troops, faithful to the military oath, went to foreign soil to defend the interests of their people and fulfill their “international duty.”

Slide No. 9

How many times has this happened: wars are plotted by gray-haired politicians, and those who are 18-20 years old end up in the trenches.

Slide No. 10

What happened? As it was? And was it so?

On December 25, 1979, at 15:00 Moscow time, the entry of Soviet troops into Kabul and Bagram began. A fierce Afghan war began, which lasted 10 years.

Slide No. 11

1 soldier:“Afghanistan seemed like paradise to me. The rivers are fabulously blue, red poppies grow, like our daisies, fires of poppies, from below the mountains. I saw oranges growing. The shine of a snake that has disappeared into the sand. Fish splash. No war..."

They sparkle like mirrors
And the stars from clear heights
They flow down into the grass.
There are reeds over the stream
Three times the height of a man,

It flutters around carelessly.
There are monkeys from the thicket
They scare the ducks by squealing.
There they shoot snipers in the forehead,
Which is also besides jokes.

And gasoline spilled around.
And said goodbye to me forever

1989. Soviet troops left Afghanistan. We met our soldiers with joy. With joy clouded by grief. For many, the quiet Amu Darya has become a river separating the kingdom of the dead; they will never cross it. There, across the river, the ground is soaked in the blood of thousands of our soldiers.

Motherland!... There is nothing in the world more valuable than this word, washed with the blood of famous and nameless heroes.

What pushed yesterday’s boys and girls to do this? Most likely, for each generation, sooner or later the hour comes when it must take responsibility “for Russia, for the people and for everything in the world.”

Sooner or later, you, young men and future defenders of the Fatherland, will also face this choice. You are probably already thinking: “To serve or not to serve in the Army?”, but there is such a profession as “Defending the Motherland!” I think that today's meeting has given you a good reason to think about this seriously and responsibly.

1 slide A song is playing.
2 presenters go to the middle.
1. No, our Afghans should not forget the battles and campaigns, the graves of their fallen friends
and comrades. Do not forget them, those who were lucky enough to remain alive
and healthy, and even more so, crippled. Until the last days they did not
forget moral and even physical pain. Years of sorrow for widows, birth-
tel. Brothers and sisters of soldiers killed on Afghan soil. But life
continues. Life takes its toll...
Music sounds.

2. Today we would like to sincerely congratulate each defender
Fatherland. Today is the day of remembrance of those who died a brave death in
Afghanistan. Whatever events shake the world, we come in February
To the obelisks to honor the memory of Afghan soldiers. Those who didn't return
from the battlefield. On this day we remember our friends. The dead and the living,
they are remembered in every home, in every family.

1 student: Let's put our memory on bayonets
And we will forever remember how we once did
It wasn’t the penalty soldiers who went to the machine guns
And peaceful and honest guys!

Student 2: Today everyone will remember by name
Those who did not return from the battlefield.
This is our memory, the memory of generations!
Memory that came out of the fire, and which
Salty taste. This is a moment, ex
Life and death, pain and suffering.

3 student: Let ten or more years pass,
And time knows how to heal wounds,
Let's remember those who won't come
Let's remember the soldiers of Afghanistan!

1. Let us honor with a minute of silence the soldiers who courageously fulfilled their duty
and those killed in Afghanistan.
A minute of silence.

2. Afghanistan is a distant Asian state, familiar to most only
according to scant information from school geography textbooks. Could we
assume that someday this word will be imprinted in the hearts
so many Kazakh guys.

4 student: Afghanistan, Afghanistan
We had to travel a lot along Afghan roads,
We were shaking in armored vehicles, the sky served as a tent for us,
And for a long time under the stars it became a firm law:
Do not look for sweet life on earth.

5th student: Helicopters are circling over the mountains, clinging to the peaks,
Somewhere, the last explosion echoed in the distance.
Only occasionally at night will machine guns explode the silence,
Checking: Is everyone alive?

6th student: Here we seem to have forgotten about fear and danger,
And in moments of despair we learned to laugh.
And with friends whom you have loved for life,
We are used to saying goodbye for a long time.

1. Such poems were written by guys who served in Afghanistan. So they met a new reality, known only from history textbooks. It was difficult for them to believe that in our time the lives of people are controlled by a feudal lord, a landowner, and that the most common tool of a farmer’s labor is a wooden plow. The soldiers wanted to help the poor man standing with his hand outstretched
near a collapsed clay fence, and barefoot children with frightened eyes. They gave bread to the hungry, clothing to the naked, and medicine to the poor.

2. 9 years from December 1979 to February 1989, Soviet soldiers and
officers fulfilled their duty with honor, showing true heroism and
dedication. This war brought a lot of grief to the Kazakh
land. It has become a tradition to forever preserve the memory of fallen soldiers
multinational Kazakhstan.

1. The most sad result of the Afghan war is the death of our soldiers and officers. 13,833 military personnel were killed or died from wounds and illnesses, including 1,979 officers and generals, 572
KGB soldiers, 29 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 190 military advisers,
6,669 Afghans became disabled, of which 1,479 were disabled 1st
groups. 22 thousand Kazakhstanis passed through Afghanistan.

7th student: The sun burned us mercilessly,
Salty sweat poured into my eyes,
Everyone was thinking about something dear,
And he licked his dry lips.
We climbed up the slopes,
Tearing bodies to blood,
And the last sip for everyone
Here they always shared every drop
I remember the forty-first fathers,
Your grandfather remembered the revolution.
Well, we remember the years
Spent on this earth.
Before demobilization we thought we were ducks,
The days dragged on like years.
The blood of the dead and the ashes of the ruins
In our memory forever!

2. Letters from soldiers home. Poems, writings between battles...they became
history, and now you can see in them love for the Motherland, loved ones, true
there is debt. This is living history. They are dear to us, like the chronicle of a nine-year-old
bloody war. In Afghanistan.

8th student: “The platoon came under bullets.” Based on Igor's poem
Kobzeva.
Platoon hit by bullets
At the hot crossing,
And, wounded in the stomach
The soldier fell on the grass...
- Water, a sip of water, -
The sister bent over.
Sun from above
The fragment lit up.
And the soldier felt:
There will be no other dawn
And the first ray of the sun
It won't wake him up.
And he didn’t pick flowers
And I have not been to distant countries,
I haven't kissed you in ages
Girlish lips are rosy.
- Sister, don’t bandage it,
The end has come for me, apparently.
You better kiss
- Now, soldier, now, -
His sister told him.
And for the first time in my life
She kissed the boy.
And the first kiss
Worthy of high words.
And whatever you say,
It's worth a lifetime.
I ask you, if you can, always, everywhere
Remember those who fell under fire,
Remember all friends.
We will build the best monument for them
With your memory.

The work contains a presentation for class about the war in Afghanistan "Afghanistan - the pain of my soul." The purpose of the event is to study history, cultivate patriotism, and develop readiness to defend one’s country.

The development contains a script and presentation for the class hour “You are in my memory and heart, Afghanistan,” dedicated to the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. The event is held in the form of a literary and musical composition. During the lesson, excerpts from literary works are read and poems about the war in Afghanistan are recited.

The presentation on the topic “Afghanistan hurts in my soul” is a visual aid that will allow today’s schoolchildren to learn about the war that still echoes in the hearts of the Russian people, although it went far beyond the borders of our country. Its victims were young men and experienced commanders who were fulfilling their international duty under the foreign Afghan skies. You can download the manual for class hours in middle grades (5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th grade).

The author took the words of Muromov’s song as the title for the electronic resource. Indeed, Afghanistan not only hurts, but this pain lives in the souls of many. It will not be forgotten by those who visited there, who did not meet their loved one from the war, who did not live to see their son, who came home disabled at the age of 19, who saw all this horror and knows about it. You can invite Afghan soldiers to a class hour or extracurricular event who will tell children about that war.

A lesson in courage on the topic “Afghanistan is an unhealed wound” using a presentation can be held on the eve of the holiday when Soviet troops were withdrawn from this country. The war ended on February 15, 1989, but the memory of it cannot be erased. This wound will bleed for those who have somehow come into contact with this war. The pain will never subside and the souls of those who have lost relatives and close friends there, in distant Afghanistan, will never heal. Let the lesson of courage for which this work was done be a reminder of what must not be repeated.

A classroom manual has been prepared on 25 slides. Here are sparse texts, full of facts, documentary photographs, a map of the country, poetry and pain in every word, in every glance of those captured in the photographs. It was quite recently, and we remember it. Let the children know about those soldiers who suffered the Afghan war.

The presentation is filled with materials that will tell schoolchildren about the Afghan war and the situation that developed in Afghanistan in those terrible years after the April Revolution of 1978. You can download a free electronic development for history lessons in high school or for a class hour in grades 9, 10, 11.

The work was completed on 16 slides by 10th grade student Alexander Kovtunov. On the first page of the project there are terrible dates: 1979 - 1989. These are the years of the bloody “Afghanistan” war, which took so many lives. What follows is a detailed account of the fighting, the causes of the war, and the role of the Soviet Union in this military conflict. A modern schoolchild has many questions related to this war, most of them will be answered in this history lesson, although 25 years have already passed since its end.

The presentation was prepared as part of the local history Watch of Memory, which is timed to coincide with the Day of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. This event took place on February 15, 1989, but before our last soldier left this country, there was a series of sad events, many soldiers died. The schoolchildren talked about all this in their work, which can be downloaded for a class hour.

More than 25 years have passed since the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. Today the opinion of our contemporaries about this alien war is ambiguous. Some consider it the madness of politicians, some consider it God's punishment, and some consider it a way of insight, but one thing is certain: this war did not leave anyone indifferent. The work tells about those warriors who were from Belgorod, since the work has a local history bias. The young guys could not live to see the day when the troops were withdrawn. They were unable to return home. Eternal memory to the heroes!
