I'd rather share my impressions of the functionality. Doors open and close with a characteristic VAZ sound. Handles for opening doors inside and outside are comfortable. The car is equipped with front electric windows, control buttons are located on the doors, which, of course, is convenient and understandable. If we talk about glass lifters, then it is worth noting one caveat - the glass does not go down to the end. On the "dozens" it was so with the glass in the rear doors, but here the front windows do not go down to the end. In addition, on the driver's door there are buttons for controlling the electric drive of the mirrors (also very convenient) and locking the doors. It is worth noting that the mirrors are heated, as is the rear window. The dashboard is comfortable and informative (I liked it), there is an on-board computer with control on the steering column lever. Apparently, due to this, the light control unit is placed on the panel under left hand , does not cause inconvenience, but you need to get used to it. As for the paddle shifters, they did not present any inconvenience to me. The plastic of the panel is also not the most pleasant, although not as loud as on the "nine". The "silvered" center console is especially depressing. There are no complaints about ergonomics - the control of the "stove" is convenient, the air duct deflectors are in place, but the view is not impressive. The watch looks good, but it's not clear why they made a cover on the niche under the radio tape recorder. Apparently for unnecessary noise, because with this cover closed, even a CD-ROM does not fit in there. The glovebox is quite roomy, in addition, there is a "eyeglass case" on the ceiling and niches in the doors, although not very roomy. As for the plastic, although it is not as loud as on previous models, it causes problems, not only with a creak. Some plastic elements of the interior simply fall off over time due to broken fasteners. The steering wheel does not look very good, but it is generally unpleasant to the touch (the exit is a cover), it is equipped with a hydraulic booster, it is adjustable only in height (tilt angle). Driving is easy enough, but at the same time, "thanks to" the power steering, the steering wheel is not very informative, so you need to jump to the car so as not to "cheat", especially on the highway. The Lada Priora hatchback is equipped with a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder 16-valve engine that produces 98 liters. With. and a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine behaves rather sluggishly at low revs, but if you spin it up to 3000 rpm, the car becomes faster. Of course, I'm not a racer, but the power of the car is quite enough for me, in any case, the truck can be overtaken without problems. At the same time, the engine is quite economical - on the highway, the consumption is about 6 liters per 100 km. (sometimes 5.5). As for the chassis, it repeats that of the cars of the "tenth" family and does not present any particular problems. Everything is already familiar from previous models, simple and inexpensive to maintain. I think that the suspension is well suited for our roads, or rather for their absence. As for the cost of spare parts, there are special breakdowns for 30 thousand km. was not observed. Recently, the timing belt tensioner jammed, I had to change the belt and roller. All other costs related only to periodic maintenance. Of the inconveniences, it is worth noting the squeak of the brake pads, the noise in the cabin, the insufficient rigidity of the "floor" of the trunk covering the spare wheel. Should you buy a Lada Priora hatchback? In my opinion, the answer is not so straightforward. The new Lada Priora VAZ - 2172 in Ukraine starts from UAH 82 thousand, it is much cheaper to buy its older brothers and even Lada Grant. The gearless electric power steering is beyond praise: in traffic jams, the steering wheel rotates with just one finger, at speed the help of the amplifier comes to naught. The gearbox drive mechanism with closed-type bearings and reinforced clutch, as well as updated front suspension struts with barrel springs and rear suspension shock absorbers distinguish Priora from the "dozens".
